Timeline:

• 1/24 evening fly into town (LAX as it turned out)
• 1/25 bus 304 to Union Station, metrolink train 304 to Claremont, hang out at parents house.
• 1/26
• 1/27
• day ... hang out in Claremont ...
• 6:30pm depart to drive to uWink
• 8pm: uWink - It's a hike up to the Valley, but you haven't truly lived until you've taken on some 11 yr old and his mom at Octapong while drunk on martinis. go thre Saturday for microformats LA get together
• 1/28
• LACMA for Magritte exhibit
• 1/29 ...
• 1/30 early morning fly out of town

Suggested Activities

• Brunch at Alcove, Millie's, or any of numerous other excellent places in LA to eat omelettes and get overcaffeinated at noon.
• If you're in Claremont, this time of year is good for snowball fights on Mount Baldy. Or also, hiking Mount Baldy.
• Also Claremont Specific - if you really want to relax, it's pretty hard to beat Glen Ivy in Corona

Next Time

• Midnight Ridazz Friday Night - was going to go 1/26 evening, but maybe I should ride a bicycle first for the first time in over six months (a year? more?).
