• smartphone with camera - http://brightkite.com/ has *finally* provided a killer-app for the camera equipped smartphone.
• BlackBerry 9000 (est. release mid 2008 June) - looks like the best bet. EDGE+3G+Wifi from ATT.
• BlackBerry 8310 Curve. seriously considering getting one of these perhaps aftermarket to use while waiting for the 9000. Not sure if I can wait til mid June which might be delayed to July or August.
• small laptop / subnotebook
• PowerBook G4 12" 80GB (or more) HD, max RAM, in good condition. Contact me if you have one you want to get rid of. I have one but I want a few more for redundancy.
• something like the Panasonic R7b (japan only laptop) could be cool
• 1kg 7hr battery
• Runs debian
• 2.5" drive - upto 160GB drive.

• notes from talking with the peeps at Best Buy:
• Xbox 360 only comes w one controller
• Get 360 or 360 elite at least (not 360 arcade)
• Play & charge kit uses NiMH bat ($20 at Best Buy)
• Halo3 game ($60)
• Halo3 legendary edition includes helmet, extra footage.
